Working with SGS-certified partner laboratories at all four hubs, we provide full analytical testing so every parcel is verified against contract specification before it moves.
Laboratory testing answers a narrower but equally critical question than inspection: not how much product moved, but whether it actually matches the specification written into the contract. Crude assay and distillation testing establish yield characteristics; sulphur, density, and flash point tests confirm the parcel sits within the tolerances a buyer's refinery or blending process is built around.
Chain of custody is what makes a laboratory result usable in a dispute — a sample only carries evidentiary weight if it can be shown to be the same sample drawn from the same tank at the same time, with no opportunity for substitution between drawing and analysis. That is why witnessed sampling, sealed containers, and a documented handoff to the laboratory matter as much as the analytical results themselves.
