Jet Fuel A1
Jet A1 aviation turbine fuel meeting ASTM D1655 and DEF STAN 91-091 specifications, supplied through our Rotterdam and Fujairah terminals for commercial aviation offtake.

Jet A1 is the kerosene-type turbine fuel used by commercial aviation across nearly every market outside North America (which runs the closely related Jet A). Dual certification to ASTM D1655 and the UK-originated DEF STAN 91-091 is what makes a given parcel acceptable to both commercial airline and, where applicable, military offtake — most international jet fuel storage and trading is built around holding that dual spec rather than a single national standard.
The freeze point specification matters more for Jet A1 than for most other fuel grades, since fuel drawn at cruising altitude has to stay liquid at temperatures well below anything encountered in ground storage. Terminals supplying aviation offtake are typically positioned close to major airport fuel systems or bunkering anchorages that also serve as regional aviation fuel distribution points, which is why Jet A1 storage concentrates at hubs like Rotterdam and Fujairah rather than spreading evenly across a network.
